- 3rd hour...I forgot to tell you how to find the diameter of your round objects so here are the directions. If you know anyone in 4th hour, they can explain it to you as well....
- To find the diameter of your round object, you need to know where the center is right? So how do you find the center of your roll of masking tape for instance?
- First, trace your round object on apiece of paper. Then draw a chord (segment whose endpoints lie ON the circle). Then construct the perpendicular bisector (fishy) of that chord. Draw a second chord, different from your first. Then construct the perpendicular bisector of that chord. Where the 2 perpendicular bisectors intersect will be the center of your circle. From there, you can draw the radius of your circle. Measure it. Then double it to get your diameter.
